Remember this?
Well, he fell out of it today. Thank goodness that I haven't been putting him on the table or the countertop lately (since he's gotten so wiggly). I had him in it today while I was in the shower. I keep my eye on him the whole time I'm in the shower, but I leaned my head back to rinse the shampoo and that's when I heard the thud and the crying. Poor baby...he's fine, though. But in my efforts to comfort him, I may have gotten shampoo in his eye. *sigh* There goes any hope of Mommy of the Year award.
As if I ever had a chance.

Just the fact that you take him where you can see him in the shower makes you a better candidate than me.
Carter fell out of his stroller. I was there to catch him thank goodness, but he would have landed on his head on the driveway! They are such wiggle butts.
i used to always wheel the umbrella stroller into the bathroom with me for during showers. the kid might fuss the whole time, but at least i knew why there was fussing going on. :)
oh, i think we've all had our bad mommy moments, but that doesn't make us bad mommies... my monkeys have had their share of falls-- with the bumps and knots and bruises to go with them.
speaking of such things-- lemme tell you about the time i took #3 to the grocery store. he was probably 15-18 months or so at the time. he sat in the shopping cart with the goose egg on the forehead (fall on the tile floor), the black eye (tripped into the desk), and his ankles tied together (because i couldn't keep him from wiggling out of the seatbelt and climbing out of shopping carts)...
i got some "looks" that morning.
Oh No! I hope he's ok! At least you didn't have an audience...
One time I was at Great CLips getting my older kid's hair cut. I had the baby in his car seat. I went to move him because the place got crowded and I didn't want him taking up space in a chair...and the handle wasn't locked!! He flipped forward right onto the floor! Ughh...and a crowd to give me mean looks like I was a horrible mother. So, looks like I get the bad mommy of the year award and not you! Lucky for you.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! :-)
