I'm feeling a bit anxious today. We have two big things coming up over the next two days and the pressure of waiting on them is starting to wear on me a bit. One should happen today, but I'm not quite ready to go public with that yet. If things go well, hopefully I'll be able to share some great news later this afternoon. But that's all I'll say about that.
The other thing is my should-be-20-week-but-getting-it-at-18.5 weeks ultrasound. We'll get to see the baby on Wednesday. I'm so excited. We've only had one ultrasound so far and that was 2 months ago when Baby still looked like a bean. Now it looks like a little miniature person. By this time in my previous pregnancies, I had had several ultrasounds because of some other health issues. But I've only had one so far and I'm absolutely DYING to get a glimpse at this precious little child. We'll get a glimpse of it's gender, too, but probably won't actually find out until Christmas morning with the whole family. Right now, I just want to see the baby. I'm not even really concerned with finding out boy or girl. I just want to look at it's face.
Oh and also, if you care to share some ideas for boys' names that you wouldn't mind if I ended up using, we could use some suggestions. We keep coming up with names and then deciding against them. We're clear out of good boy names. Our latest one is Grant, but I'm just not sure. It doesn't feel right. We're good on the girl name. That one's been decided for a while, and I think we'll actually stick with it.

Yay - ultrasound! I loved having the 20 week ultrasounds.
Hmmm....boy names. Here are some we had on our lists: Sebastian, Joshua, Matthew, Connor, Benjamin, Patrick, Nathan, Nathaniel and Zachary.
Here are some I liked, but we couldn't use for various reasons: Caleb, Mason, Joseph, Jacob and Paul.
Hmm. Eagerly awaiting your good news.
Names... you should email Swistle and get her to do a baby names post for you. She comes up with lots of good suggestions.
Are you still sticking with the same number of syllables thing that you were doing? I can definitely see how that would limit your choices at this point.
I know you talked about Grayson for Z- is that out now because of being too close to M-A's middle name?
Nah, I'm not so married to the syllable thing. Especially since it's not happening with the girl name. Our options are just too limited. I just won't ever mention it again and hopefully baby won't figure it out and feel left out when he/she grows up. We still like Grayson, but I think it might be too close to M-A's middle name. But it might be kept on the short list just because we can't seem to think of anything else.
You know, I shouldn't be stressing about this because we'll know for sure in a little over a week and it might be a moot point. I just need something to occupy my brain while I'm STILL WAITING for some news. I'm dying....
I love Nathan. And Ethan.
And you need to email me and tell me about this news, because now I'm dying too!
Oh, I love baby names. Here are some fun ones that just popped in my head. Let us know if you want more, I could go on and on.
Patrick, Mitchell (I so want someone to use that, because I don't know if I would), Jamin/Jaymin (another fav of mine), Matthew, Charlie, Hayden, Graham/Graeme (saw the alernate spelling in a book I was reading and fell in love with the name all over again), Connor, David, Josiah.
OK, I better stop for now.
