I was intrigued by the pick on Friday (wasn't it Friday?) thinking it would go one way or the other very strongly.
And you are right - you may not vote for one person but definitely against another..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29948275.post-81245158324989038332008-09-04T11:14:00.000-07:002008-09-04T11:14:00.000-07:00I agree Alli. If neither candidate is great, you still need to vote. Even if it means just using your vote to keep someone out of office. Does that make sense? Read a couple of the articles I posted on Tuesday. We have to vote AGAINST someone that can't call a LIVING, BREATHING newborn a "child".Allihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06052749330145977560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29948275.post-10764221875807947832008-09-04T08:21:00.000-07:002008-09-04T08:21:00.000-07:00Like MD, I don't write about politics on my blog, ...Like MD, I don't write about politics on my blog, but I do find the system and this year's election fascinating.

I watched part of Sarah Palin's speech last night and while I don't agree with all of her opinions or stances, I do think she's an awesome speaker, politician, mother and role model. How she found the time to have FIVE children AND be PTA president, mayor and governor is amazing to me. I'm struggling to juggle three kids and no job!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29948275.post-80851954462952059452008-09-04T07:21:00.000-07:002008-09-04T07:21:00.000-07:00I haven't paid enough attention yet, but I think I...I haven't paid enough attention yet, but I think I'll grow to like Palin.

I won't blog about politics much (too sticky) but I am pretty passionate about voting. In fact I told two family members over the weekend the same thing. They (one sister and my grandma) both said they didn't like either candidate, so the weren't going to vote at all. I told them the way I see it, if you don't vote you have no right to complain about anything political that happens in the next fours years. Just be quiet about it. They both said "OK, I see what you mean." Who knows what will happen though.

I just don't like it when someone wants to talk politics with me then turn around and say they're not voting.Mommy Daisyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02272248293460562006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29948275.post-23227342214992346882008-09-04T07:01:00.000-07:002008-09-04T07:01:00.000-07:00I watched her. When she mentioned something about Obama's fake styrofoam pillars going back to the movie lot I laughed for about ten minutes.

She's tough.
